Journalism without walls Korea trip was designed to expose students to the rich complexity of modern Korea, considered one of Asia’s four dragons. Based at Dongguk University in downtown Seoul, this program took students on a tour of Korea, including meeting media executives, politicians, artists, cultural figures, North Korean refugees and everyday people. Students learned how to report, produce and publish sophisticated multimedia presentations using the latest in media technologies and techniques.

This trip is part of the Journalism School’s “Journalism Without Walls” program. It has taken students on reportorial adventures across the world, including trips to India, Cuba, China, Russia and Turkey.
